The AH-1W Super Cobra is the medium attack helicopter of the American forces in World in Conflict.

Overview

Though not equipped with the same degree of heavy weaponry as the Apache, the SuperCobra still poses a significant threat to light vehicles and infantry with its automatic cannon.

But the main purpose of the medium helicopter is the elimination of other helicopters, and it carries the AIM-9 Sidewinder missile which will inflict massive damage on an unlucky airborne target.

Trivia

Like the AAVP7A1, it is odd to see the AH-1W Super Cobra being used by the United States Army. The Super Cobra was developed specifically for the Marine Corps because they could not procure modified AH-64A Apaches. It is possible both vehicles were loaned to the Army to fend off the invasion.
