The M48 Chaparral is the United States Army's heavy anti-air unit. It has four large AA missiles mounted on the back of its chassis.[1]
Description[]
Based on the AIM-9 Sidewinder missile and mounted on the venerable M113 hull, the Chaparall swiftly and efficiently deals with any enemy air assets foolish enough to get close. It is the equivalent of the Soviet SA-13 Gopher and NATO Roland FRK.
