Maria Malashenka was the wife of Nikolai Malashenko.
Biography[]
Little is known about her past. Before the Third World War, Maria was pregnant with her and Nikolai's daughter. After the war erupted in Europe, Maria would always receive from and write letters to her husband. She would write to Nikolai about their newborn daughter and family matters, and would respond in praise to Nikolai's efforts as a Soviet Army captain.[2]
Maria and her daughter were killed in a NATO raid in Serebrjansk. When Nikolai learned of their deaths, in his grief and anger he said that he was proud that they died for the Soviet state and socialism.[1] Nikolai would descend further into his fanaticism and hatred of the West.
