South Africa is a country located in southern Africa, bordering the nations of Angola, Zaire, Botswana, Lesotho, and Swaziland. The country's stance during World War III is unknown, but due to it's ties with the United States, as well as the nation's anti-communist sentiment, it may have supported the USA.

South Africa is a former British colony. In 1948, the era known as the Apartheid happened. During the 70s, the country was suspected of developing nuclear weapons in conjunction with Israel. One such test in the Vela incident on 1979, in which a US spy satellite detected a blast in the southern Indian Ocean. As the Angolan Civil War broke out, the United States and South Africa supported the anti-communist FNLA against the communist MPLA..

During World War III, it may have supported the USA.
